I drew this while Crispin Glover was giving a Q&A at the Oak Street Cinema. This was following a screening of his film which (aside from Crispin Glover, a guy with Multiple Sclerosis, and some naked women in monkey masks) featured a cast of entirely Downs Syndrome actors. There was a lot of really graphic snail murder and racist imagery and a pretty gross sex scene, too.

It was a really uncomfortable experience overall but I'm still kind of glad I went.

Little Brother

My little brother Evan is an artist in his own right, and has also been doing daily drawings. He started by drawing every animal in this oversized animal encyclopedia, and has since graduated to drawing Star Wars characters. I think they kind of rule.

Old comic pages

These are a couple of the pages from a comic I was working on for my senior project in college. It was an unrealistically HUGE undertaking at the time (I think 125 pages all to be done in one semester, which basically meant I needed to do something like 1.5-2 finished pages a day, every day.) It turned me into a gibbering madman who spent way too much time in the studio, and I didn't even finish the whole thing.

I'm currently in the process of finishing up the revised version of the story, and I'll be posting the first chapter sometime before the month is out. Till then, here's its crude predecessor.
